LLIDS

Language, Literature, and Interdisciplinary Studies (LLIDS)

Aims & Scope

Language, Literature, and Interdisciplinary Studies (LLIDS) is an open access, peer-reviewed, academic e-journal, aiming to provide an interdisciplinary discursive space for all the researchers committed to quality research work. LLIDS attempts to fashion a space that would allow researchers to collate their insights with larger issues through rigorous academic inquiries that have the potential to transform the intellectual landscape by addressing key issues confronting the society.

In order to select quality research papers from the submissions we get, every selected paper is peer reviewed and undergoes a rigorous editorial process.

The journal has five sections:

  • Theme based research papers section
  • Theme based Forum submissions section
  • Special Submissions section (quality research papers on any topic)
  • Book Reviews section (caters to academic books, non-fiction books categorized under memoirs, biographies, autobiographies, and travelogues, as well as works of fiction and poetry)
  • Response section (responses to research works published here, in order to continue the dialogue created by the published works at LLIDS)

Publication Model

As of July 2023, LLIDS has transitioned to a Continuous Publication model. This model lets us publish individual papers which have been accepted for publication. Consequently, it allows for a faster publication of papers, which is advantageous to both the authors and readers. The published papers are later on collated into Issues and Volumes. Papers published are available in the List of Published Articles on the website – https://ellids.com/

Unlike the established format of Continuous Publication model, LLIDS retains pagination for its Individual article publications. From Volume 7 onwards, each subtopic within a Volume is published under separate sections. The Volume also contains the Forum, Special Submissions, Book Reviews, and Responses. The pagination reflects the sections, such that the first section would start from page number 1.1, the second section would start from page number 2.1, and so on.

This transition to the Continuous Publication model does not affect the previous publications in any way.

If you have any further queries regarding the same, please feel free to write to us at editors[at]ellids[dot]com.
