Language, Literature, and Interdisciplinary Studies (LLIDS)
Aim & Scope
Language, Literature, and Interdisciplinary Studies (LLIDS) is an open access, peer-reviewed, academic e-journal, aiming to provide an interdisciplinary discursive space for all the researchers committed to quality research work. LLIDS attempts to fashion a space that would allow researchers to collate their insights with larger issues through rigorous academic inquiries that have the potential to transform the intellectual landscape by addressing key issues confronting the society.
In order to select quality research papers from the submissions we get, every selected paper is peer reviewed and undergoes a rigorous editorial process.
The journal has three sections:
– Theme based research papers section
– Special submissions section (quality research papers on any topic)
– Book reviews section (caters to academic books, non-fiction books categorized under memoirs, biographies, autobiographies, and travelogues), as well as works of fiction and poetry.
Publication Model
Since its inception in September 2017, Language, Literature, and Interdisciplinary Studies (LLIDS) publishes original and unpublished works in quarterly Issues.
As of July 2023, LLIDS has transitioned to a Continuous Publication model. This model will let us publish individual papers which have been accepted for publication, without waiting for the entire Issue to be ready. Consequently, it will allow for a faster publication of papers, which is advantageous to both the authors and readers. The published papers will be later on be collated within the Issue once it is complete. Papers published, hereafter, will be available both in the List of Published Articles on the website – https://ellids.com/ – as well as on the Ongoing Issue page.
Unlike the established form of Continuous Publication model, LLIDS will retain the pagination. The journal has multiple Call for Papers (CFPs) for each Issue which generally include a theme based CFP and a General submissions CFP, which are then published under separate sections. The pagination would reflect the sections, such that the first section would start from page number 1.1, the second section would start from page number 2.1, and so on.
This transition to the Continuous Publication model does not affect the previous publications in any way. If you have any further queries regarding the same, please feel free to write to us at editors[at]ellids[dot]com.
