Rawad Alhashmi (rawad.alhashmi@utdallas.edu) is a Ph.D. candidate and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas. He is also a translation editor at Reunion: The Dallas Review. His research interests include modern translation, world literature, postcolonial theories, speculative fiction, and contemporary Arabic literature. In addition, he enjoys reading, writing, and translating poetry.
