Dr. Yvonne Stafford-Mills

Professor of English at Cerro Coso Community College, Ridgecrest, CA. She received her PhD from Claremont Graduate University where she was a Claremont National Scholar scholarship recipient. Her doctoral research focused on adaptations of Hamlet under censored regimes. She is also an active theatre performer and director.

Most recently, her focus has been on accelerated basic skills pedagogy for undergraduate English courses. She is active in curriculum development and mentorship.

Areas of Interest: Shakespeare adaptation and performance, as well as effective pedagogy for Basic Skills and general college English requirements.
