Rituparna Sengupta (rituparna05sengupta@gmail.com) is a PhD scholar at the department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India. Her dissertation focuses on the contestation over cultural nationalism, masculinities, and femininities in popular culture texts—contemporary Indian popular fiction, film,
