Nikita Goel
Editor and Co-founder, Language, Literature, and Interdisciplinary Studies (LLIDS)

After completing her Masters in English Literature from University of Delhi, India, in 2015, Nikita Goel pursued the Columbia Publishing Course from Columbia University, New York. During her course at Columbia University, she largely explored various aspects of academic publications, especially designing of academic books within the printing press, as well as various aspects involved in the production of electronic/print Journals and Magazines. Before starting as an Editor at Language, Literature, and Interdisciplinary Studies (https://ellids.com/), Nikita had worked with varied publishing houses on genres ranging from Children’s Fiction, Non-Fiction, K-12 Division, to Academic publishing. Nikita also volunteered at the not-for-profit Make A Difference where she taught children from underprivileged backgrounds for a duration of two years. Her recent research on Open Access dwells on a practice-based approach to work on OA policy-making and sustainability, and explores its viability in the Indian subcontinent.
